Hello all, I just purchased a DR-670 Drum Machine and I am having a blast with it. I want to be able to take the music that I am making and transfer it to PC for further manipulation. The problem is that I have no idea what software interfaces or other devices will allow me to do this. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks |

If YouŽll need good sound I can recommend a used Echo Gina20bit soundcard (also works for normal system sound BOTH MAC/PC). Should be cheap now, but are BRILLIANT quality. Then YouŽll need an audio editor, or sequencer program. Audioeditors are as many as sand in saharea (almost!) but as a Free possability I can recommend a program called Audacity. If You wanŽt to be a little more Music making, try Cubase, Sonar or Logic. In those programs You will be able to not only record Your DR but also audio and other MIDI instruments. And of course YouŽll need a MIDI cable. The most simpel is to go to a musicshop nearby and get a GamePort to MIDI cable on PC. On MAC any USB MIDI will do (also on PC of course, but the gameport thing is half priced.) Sorry for a late response, but this was myn first time by |
