OK. I'm an idiot. Probably best to get that out of the way upfront, but here's my question. Recently my band went into a studio and recorded several tracks. The rough mix sounds ok, everything is pretty tight and together. The problem is the over all tempo of these songs are just a might fast across the board.
We are a club band and tend to play these tunes a little fast when playing live, but it just doesn't sound right on a recording. So my question; Is there a magic 'slow it down' button available when digitally recording? Obvously I understand that it couldn't be done with anolog without changing pitch, but it seems like with the right processing this thing would be do-able. Thanks for your replies and thanks for a great site. I just recently stumbbled on it and am learning alot!
