hello all,
Probably an easy answer but i'm kinda new to this. I'm using my PC to record song ideas (guitar, vox, etc) with Cubase SX. The issue i'm having is that when i record a new track, it goes out of time (late) to the track before it. The PC isn't the greatest, and the soundcard is bare bones, but i have made little demo songs using 6 to 10 tracks at once and sometimes thay dont play up.. My basic setup is, AMD Athlon 1.7Ghz, 768MB Ram and a sad little soundcard (ESS1969). Only Xp and Cubase are installed (doesn't even get to have a run around the internet!). I know the best advice would be to upgrade something but i'm trying to save some cash. The PC has recorded without much hassles before, so any advice on XP or Cubase Settings would be much appreciated. Thanks,
